VLPRA's Therapeutics Division is designed specifically for individuals with disabilities. Therapeutics provides a wide variety of recreational, social, and leisure programs.
Programs are seasonal and include leisure activities such as arts, crafts, and picnics, as well as recreational activities such as Special Olympics teams. VLPRA offers a Young Adult Club with monthly activities for anyone 14 years old and up as well as a summer day program (Summer Safari) for 10-21 year olds. We also offer special events seasonally, such as the Egg-Ceptional Egg Hunt at Easter, the Festi-Fall in autumn, and the Young Adult Club Prom in the summer. All of our special events are open to anyone in the community with disabilities as well as their families.

The Therapeutics Division also offers The Young Adult Club, an excellent program that offers friendship and social interation to participants. The YAC is designed to meet the social and recreational needs of mentally and physically disabled teenagers and young adults. The YAC holds dances, bowling nights, movie nights, and even goes on out-of-town field trips. The YAC fee is affordable, at only $20 per year. It is due each January and must be paid in full by cash or check.
Every Young Adult Club Member must fill out a membership form and agree to our Code of Conduct.
