The Valdosta-Lowndes Senior Center is a recreation center which offers an array of services to help meet the social, recreational and educational needs of seniors over 50 years of age. We offer services to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens through education, recreation and physical fitness programs that encourage seniors in our community to remain active and healthy. Must be a member of the Senior Center to participate in activities.

Senior Center Mission Statement

To provide quality programming for the 50 and older population to help meet their social, recreational and educational needs by providing instructional classes, workshops, seminars, and special events to enhance their quality of life.

Membership*: $20 for city/county residents

$30 for out of county residents

*Annual memberships begin July 1^st, and expire June 30^th of the following year.

*Membership fees are not prorated throughout the year, though anyone 50 years+ may join at anytime throughout the year. Click below for membership form:

Croquet on Mondays at 1:15pm

	Line Dancing at the Wood Valley Community Center on Mondays from 3:15 - 4:30pm for the intermediate class. Wednesdays from 1:45 - 3:00pm for the Beginner's Class. It takes place at the Senior Center on Tuesdays at 1:00pm.
	Chairobics on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00am. Dance Fitness will take place on most Fridays at 10:00am (check calendar for dates)

Blood Pressure Checks every Monday at 9am in the library.
