Adult Sports 

Women’s Basketball

The Valdosta Lowndes Parks & Recreation Authority is offering Women’s Basketball at Mildred Hunter Community Center.   Registration starts in July-August; this league starts in September and offered yearly to women in high school, college, and the workforce.  (The team fee is $495.00; Games will be played on Tuesday & Thursday in the evenings.)  Coaches must attend the mandatory meetings on 7/19/12 & 8/9/12 @ 7:000pm.  The last coaches meeting will be on 8/30/12 and the season will start 9/13/12.  For more information, contact Andre Newson at 259-5437. 

30 & Over Men’s League

The Valdosta Lowndes Parks & Recreation Authority is the 30 & Over League at Mildred Hunter Community Center.  Registration starts in July; this league is offered to men over 30.  (The team fee is $495.00; Games will be played on Tuesday & Thursday in the evenings.)  Coaches must attend the mandatory meeting on 7/12/12 and 7/26/12 @ 7:00pm.  Registration ends on 9/1/12.  The season will start 9/13/12.  For more information, contact Andre Newson at 259-5437.

Youth Sports 

Youth Football

The Valdosta Lowndes Parks & Recreation Authority is offering our annual Football Registration at Mildred Hunter Community Center.  Parents must sign a Contract of Agreement for Uniforms, Child’s and Picture ID.  The ages are 5&6 Flag, 7-8, 9-10 and 11 Year Old Tackle.  The league will start 9/8/12.  For more information, contact Markus Webb at 259-5440 or Michael Foster at 259-5407. 

Youth Basketball

The Valdosta Lowndes Parks & Recreation Authority is offering Youth Basketball at Mildred Hunter Community Center.  Parents must sign a waiver form and youth must be in school.
